At the start of the new summer season, 182 Reddingsbrigades (water rescue teams) in the Netherlands will be equipped with Evinrude E-TEC outboard engines. The engines, supplied by Jets Marivent, BRP's official distributor in the Netherlands, will be used by the rescue team boats on the North Sea, the Ijssel Lake, the border lakes, busy waterways and on recreation lakes.

Power, Reliability and Environmentally Friendly

Speed and reliability are essential when it comes to saving lives on the water and that is why, Reddingsbrigades, the umbrella organization in the Netherlands, have adopted
very high standards when it comes to the equipment used by its crews.  Boats with greater outputs need engines that can accelerate quickly, can run idle for long periods of time and then quickly move back into operation at full throttle.
