BRP Introduces New Products For Evinrude/Johnson Genuine Parts


(Miami, Florida, February 15, 2007) – Expanding its Evinrude® and Johnson® Genuine Parts and Accessories product offering, BRP introduces a new series of propellers and remote controls for its industry-leading Evinrude® E-TEC® outboard engines. The addition of new propellers and enhancements to existing propellers include polished stainless steel for improved durability and longevity.

The new Rogue™ four-blade prop, available in five pitch sizes, improves acceleration and rough water handling on the 40 through 115-hp Evinrude E-TEC engines. The Rogue is ideal for operators of smaller flats boats who will appreciate the ability to plane quicker in shallow water and hold tighter in turns.

The Cyclone®, Rebel® and Viper® propeller lines have all been expanded to include more pitch sizes in one-inch increments. Each propeller line is designed to enhance specific boat applications for maximum performance and excellent fuel economy.

Designed specifically to enhance the use of Evinrude E-TEC outboards, the remote controls provide smooth shifting, precise throttle control, and improved reliability. The durable controls offer improved ergonomics and are easy to install. The dual engine control features a trim synchronization switch and individual trim switches. A single lever binnacle control offers an exclusive integrated ignition switch that keeps the key in easy reach. The four new remote control models fit Evinrude® and Johnson® outboards from 1979 and newer.
